Today i took the kiddos to the slides at gateway.

i did a bit of sketching (practicing the tips and tricks Roz told me)...... still need a bit more practice!!

open gnome surgery

It was a very tense time at pottery yesterday.......

I had to do open gnome surgery......... it had to be done!

i had to scrape away all the excess waist (just like lipo suction) making him lighter and finally i found what i was looking for........

i knew i had taken these on the farm last year in the snow.  So at long last.....

i found them on my computer and wanted to try work them a bit.  I have taken a lot of the pink out of the blooms and buds.

My first giraffe

This month in my 'year of the giraffe' course we had to sew a giraffe

i was a bit like a cow with a golf stick

But managed to get this little guy done, i have a purple fetish at the moment..........

Mountain biking with the girls

Had a whole lot of fun on the trails this morning, Jenny, Liesl and I did the Purple Route

HAD to stop for a guava break!

And give way for the odd tractor....
